Computer Programming
Algorithms, logic, variables, loops, and debugging—building a working game or app from scratch.
Founded in British Columbia, Propel Youth Society is a nonprofit built on a simple truth: kids are growing up in a world shaped by software, AI, online risks, financial choices, and mental health pressures—and every student deserves the tools to navigate them with confidence.
The world kids live in is changing faster than ever. Students are online every day, encountering Artificial Intelligence, navigating digital spending, and managing real-world stress and emotions.
Built on research-backed curricula from MIT, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and leading youth nonprofits, we partner with schools to bring six standalone one-day courses directly into public classrooms across BC.
Algorithms, logic, variables, loops, and debugging—building a working game or app from scratch.
How machine learning and LLMs work, training AI models, smart prompting, and spotting AI bias and hallucinations.
Wiring sensors, programming motors, and engineering autonomous robots to solve physical challenges.
Protecting privacy, spotting phishing scams and AI deepfakes, handling cyberbullying, and algorithm literacy.
Earning, the 50/30/20 budget, banking, debit vs. credit debt traps, and compound investing.
Neuroscience of stress, nervous-system reset tools, breaking screen-dopamine loops, and emotional resilience.
When important topics are only taught at paid after-school camps or private academies, most kids never get access to them. By partnering directly with schools to run one-day courses during the school day, we make sure every single student in the classroom learns these essentials together.
Give every student practical, real-world knowledge in coding, AI, robotics, online safety, money, and mental health.
Deliver workshops inside public classrooms so family income or transportation never stops a child from learning.
Equip young minds with critical thinking, resilience, and practical tools they can use for life.
Book a course for your school, volunteer with our team, or partner with us to support local classrooms.
